Candlebox Releases New, Live Acoustic Album Featuring Original Members

June 23, 2023

Multi-Platinum rock band Candlebox releases Live at the Neptune, a new acoustic album featuring the original members of the band. The LP has hit songs from Candlebox’s self-titled release, as well as their sophomore release Lucy. Live at the Neptune was mixed and mastered by Candlebox’s very own Peter Klett and is available through Pavement Entertainment.

Founding guitarist Klett says, “Not only was it a special night for all of us to get back together, it was also an opportunity to indulge in my new passion of music production by mixing the record. Mixing this record was a challenge, but it’s what I love to do now.”

The recording of the LP comes from a live performance of Candlebox’s original members (Kevin Martin, Klett, Bardi Martin, and Scott Mercado) reuniting for one night at the Neptune Theatre in Seattle, WA on November 5, 2021 to celebrate the 26th anniversary of Lucy.

The track list is as follows:

Side A
Cover Me
He Calls Home

Side B
Far Behind

Live at the Neptune’s CD format also includes the two bonus tracks “A Stone’s Throw Away” and “It’s Alright.”

Candlebox’s current lineup, which features Martin, Brian Quinn, Adam Kury, Island Styles, and BJ Kerwin, is on tour this summer with 3 Doors Down. The two iconic rock bands are playing in venues across the US.
