Oblivion Choir
0BL1V10N CH01R turns mortality and social anxieties into music that demands to be felt. Combining alternative metal, industrial textures, and a nu-metal pulse, the Southern California trio channels itself into a sound driven by a clear purpose: The polarization we’ve accepted through multiple sources have faded us into a decaying “choir” singing to oblivion; but some choose to go down swinging, and leave haunts instead of legacies.
The members’ paths first crossed in the Southern California underground in the early 2000s, with backgrounds spanning (hed)p.e., 20 Dead Flower Children, and Vynegar. That shared history laid the groundwork for 0BL1V10N CH01R.
Founded by keyboardist and producer Kenny “The Finger” Sachs and vocalist Dennis “D-Hauz” Hogan in the summer of 2025, 0BL1V10N CH01R began work immediately on its debut six-song EP. Sachs created and recorded the instrumental arrangements at his home studio, while Hogan developed the lyrics and vocal melodies, recording vocals with Greg Yarber at Yarbage Studios. Amir Derakh, guitarist and co-founder of Orgy, mixed the EP at Synthicide Studios.
Guitarist Jason Murray joined in October 2026, completing the trio and adding guitar muscle to the band’s evolving identity. Together, Sachs, Hogan, and Murray balance aggression, atmosphere, and melody, drawing on their natural chemistry to push into new territory.
Signing with Pavement Entertainment in November 2026, 0BL1V10N CH01R enters its next phase with a debut EP and additional releases on the horizon. The mission remains direct: turn lived experience into songs with weight, purpose, and an impact that lasts beyond the final note. All together now…
